January 1, 2009 — At Siegwerk, one of the leading ink suppliers worldwide, Dan McDowell has taken over his new position as member of the Siegwerk Board of Management responsible for Global Purchasing, Global Supply Chain Management Development and Information Technology.
“In this newly created function Dan McDowell is responsible for the implementation of standardized systems and processes within Siegwerk worldwide”, says CEO Herbert Forker. “We strongly believe that we can differentiate from competition in a sustainable way by superior processes.”
McDowell will be based in Siegwerk’s headquarters in Siegburg, Germany.
Until December 31, 2008 McDowell headed Siegwerk’s NAFTA region including the country organizations in Canada and the USA. The newly formed Siegwerk Canada/USA (CUSA) organization has been taken over by Jim Ross. Ansgar Nonn, member of the Board, is new head of Siegwerk’s NAFTA region in addition to his responsibility as President of Siegwerk’s Publication business (inks for Publication Gravure and Web Offset).
