Cernay, FRANCE – November 20, 2009: ATF Flexo (Association Technique Francaise de Flexographie,
or the French FTA) announced yesterday the winners of its annual flexography awards contest, dubbed
“FlexoStars 2009”.
Printers using MacDermid plates fared extremely well in the contest, winning 9 awards in 14 categories.
Eight out of nine award-winning submissions using MacDermid plates were printed using MacDermid’s
Digital Rave. Digital Rave, introduced commercially in 2006, has been an all-star for MacDermid and is
much beloved by printers who need a high durometer digital plate for consistent, low dot-gain print
performance.
Submissions printed with MacDermid plates received four gold awards, four silver awards and one bronze
