Graphic Arts Online, July 16, 2008 —
PIA/GATF announced the recipients of the 2008 InterTech Technology Awards. Twenty-eight nominations were submitted, and 10 technologies have been selected to receive the award.
An independent panel of judges deliberated over technology submissions ranging from consumables to MIS systems to large-format presses. PIA/GATF says a recurring theme in the 2008 InterTech nominations was process efficiency. Many submissions offered solutions to automate production steps, provide inline process control and manage production.
