Iggesund increases Incada prices

April 11, 2008 — Iggesund Paperboard is increasing prices in the U.K. on its folding box board, Incada, by 8 percent per tonne for deliveries as of 15 May 2008.

"The continuous rise of costs of raw materials and energy are no longer sustainable without these being reflected in our prices, at least in part," says Guy Mallinson, Business Director in charge of European sales for Iggesund. The background to the increase is that costs for input goods and services such as wood, energy, chemicals and transport continue to rise inexorably.

Iggesund Paperboard is part of the Holmen Group and makes virgin fibre-based board at its mills in Iggesund, Sweden and Workington, England.
