Christian Schwarze, who previously worked for the big players Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, NexPress and Kodak, is to assume responsibility for worldwide sales at GMG.
Tuebingen (May 6, 2008) - GMG, supplier of high-end color management and proofing solutions, announces that Christian Schwarze is immediately taking up the duties of worldwide Sales Director of the company. He previously held a variety of positions in marketing and sales at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, NexPress GmbH and Kodak GmbH. In his new capacity, Mr. Schwarze will be responsible for sales activities of GMG around the globe.
"Having spent more than ten years working in the graphic arts industry, Christian Schwarze is thoroughly familiar with every aspect of the industry. We are convinced that Mr. Schwarze can quickly and efficiently help us to expand our market position."
"GMG already has a good position in the market today, and the company is growing steadily. Our aim is to consolidate and expand this position. It is an attractive challenge for me to have the chance to quickly make a major impact in a medium-sized company," says Christian Schwarze. "Being the biggest event in the industry, I expect the forthcoming Drupa to give me plenty of impetus for the rest of the year and the tasks in hand."

About the GMG family of products:
GMG ColorProof, a color management software system, provides the most accurate way of calibrating digital inkjet proofing engines to produce digital contract color proofs, precisely matched to the printing press. GMG DotProof(r) enables users to generate contract quality halftone proofs, using the original bitmap data of the output RIP. Specifically tailored to the needs of the packaging industry is GMG FlexoProof, which supports specific flexo file formats and includes a complete Pantone(r) spot color library, along with other functions. GMG ColorServer is a tool for automatic color conversions - CMYK-to-CMYK, RGB-to-CMYK and RGB-to-RGB - for more efficient workflows. GMG InkOptimizer automatically reduces chromatic colors, thus providing cost savings by reducing unnecessary ink usage, along with better print stability on press. GMG ProofControl is the ideal solution for instant, color-accurate verification of proofs. GMG Media is a range of proofing-specific papers and films for the most popular inkjet printers. They are manufactured to high tolerances for color critical applications, available in a range of sizes. |
