November 4, 2008 — Flexo Concepts, Plymouth, MA, USA, has named Weldon Celloplast of New Delhi, India, its MicroClean agent in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. MicroClean is a line of anilox cleaning equipment utilizing plastic blast media. Under the agreement, the company will also distribute TruPoint plastic and composite doctor blades and ReNew cleaning products to the flexible packaging and label markets in the region.
Weldon Celloplast is a producer of self-adhesive labelstock in India and is the first Indian company in the industry to receive ISO:9001-2000 certification. Founded in 1982, Weldon sells silicone release liners, pressure sensitive materials, self-adhesive tapes and a variety of coated products under the FASCO brand. The company also distributes press equipment, consumables and accessories for the narrow web label and converting industries.
Dave Burgess, vice president of dales and marketing for MicroClean, says that the arrangement “will increase our presence in the area, and Weldon will round out its basket of products.”
