November 24, 2008 — Edale, a manufacturer of narrow web printing and converting equipment based in Romney, England, has appointed Printers Supply Co. Pvt. Ltd., of Kolkata, India, to be its distributor in the subcontinent. Printers Supply is a 60 year old business catering to the Indian printing industry and is also a distributor of DuPont photopolymer plates.
A manufacturer of flexographic printing equipment for the past 50 years, Edale is entering the Indian market with a range of specialized application machinery for printing and integration in the narrow web format. Among the company’s areas of specialization are magnetic strip applications, RFID inlay insertions, tamper evident products, watermarks, security die cutting, microtext printing, scratch off placement, hologram placement, multiweb lamination and registration, and phone re-charge cards.
