March 12, 2008, — Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd. – part of Bobst Group Business Area Flexible Materials - is pleased to confirm that Markus Lehmann joined the company as Sales Manager on 1st March 2008. Markus will be responsible for sales of Atlas slitter rewinders in the Americas, Northern Europe, including Scandinavia & Nordic regions. Markus will be based in Nuembrecht, Germany.
Aged 39 years, Markus has a Diploma in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from the Fachhochschule in Cologne and extensive experience in product development and engineering. He also has more than 10 years experience in sales of slitting & rewinding equipment and its related technology.
The recent expansion of Bobst Group’s Slitting & Rewinding Product Line sales personnel reflects a longer term commitment by the Group to grow its business globally in both primary and secondary slitter rewinder technology where the Atlas & Titan brands are already acknowledged and well established as world leaders in their respective market sectors.
These include various segments of the market for flexible materials including plastic film, labelstock, paper & board, laminates and flexible packaging materials used in a wide range of food and non-food applications.
