February 2011 — Van Genechten Packaging, one of the major European folding carton manufacturers expands its international service and supply base into Italy through a co-operation agreement with Sada Packaging, a leading specialist in folding cartons and microflute near Salerno / South of Italy.
"We decided to select Sada Packaging as co-operation partner in order to offer our international customers the possibility to integrate their activities in Italy into their European sourcing strategy", says Lorenzo Delorenzi, CEO of Van Genechten Packaging. "Sada Packaging is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology in solid board as well as in microflute and has the following certificates BRC, ISO 9000, FSC. Together we can offer our customers competitive services and supplies in Italy, the Balcan states as well as into Greece". The co-operation will operate under the name Sada Packaging - A Van Genechten Packaging partnership.

Van Genechten Packaging is a group comprising of 10 folding carton factories in 7 countries, which serves the European consumer goods industry with cardboard boxes, microflute packaging and packaging systems. Other activities of the group are Automation and Extrusion, which offer customised solutions for packaging machines and a broad range of barrier laminations both for the open market as well as for the group.
