BETAFLEX PRO – TECHNOLOGY FOR TODAY’S FLEXO

April 2011 — HD Flexo’s extremely fine highlight dots requires the most advanced analysis software/hardware to effectively analyze these small highlight dots and advanced surface treatments that are normally beyond the capabilities of existing flexo analyzers.

Betaflex Pro’s revolutionary 3D Dot Structure Imaging, operating at 22,000 pixels per inch, delivers numerical analysis and visual confirmation of these small halftone dots, operators are no longer left guessing or making subjective judgments.  2D imaging of the full tonal range occurs at 14,000 pixels per inch, yielding precise and repeatable measurements from 50 to 200 line conventional screens and FM screens as well.  User definable values are set for Dot Structure diameter and shoulder profile from the OK dot image using a familiar Bull’s Eye function.  Production samples are imaged with a topographical visualization and comparison function in addition to the numerical readout.  The system generates pass, warning, or fail indicators to guide the operator in accepting or rejecting plates.

User definable values can be set for Dot Structure and the system will generate pass, warning, or fail indicators to guide the operator in accepting or rejecting a plate. Extensive testing was done to document the improvements in repeatability and reliability of the measurements. A separate technical document is available on request.
