September 2010 — Charlotte NC USA based FLXON INC has joined together in a market development alliance with WINK Stanzwerkzeuge GmbH, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of precision flexible dies and knives for the label, carton and envelope industry.
According to FLXON president Paul Sharkey… “WINK’s proprietary technology enables them to engineer and to efficiently manufacture precision flexible dies for next day delivery throughout North America. In trials, our customers have found these dies to cut a wider range of materials more efficiently at a much lower unit cost.” Sharkey went on to say this strategic market alliance is in keeping with both companies commitment to work closely with printers to achieve better results.
FLXON and WINK are each charter members of The Alliance Net™ - a group of key process element providers sharing a commitment to process control, process improvement and waste reduction in the label, envelope and folding carton industries.
