Flint Group Flexographic Products launches digital version of well established water washable flexo printing plate nyloflex® Sprint.
19 July 2010 — Designed to meet the high quality requirements of the narrow web and the mid web market, nyloflex® Sprint Digital offers high resistance against UV-inks and UV-varnishes and a remarkable performance in printing of finest elements, up to 60 L/cm or even higher. Due to the excellent ink transfer characteristics and low dot gain the nyloflex® Sprint Digital shows an outstanding performance in halftone printing.
Early users like the Dutch label printer De Kostendrukkers, located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, who particularly was looking for an environmentally friendly alternative while benefiting from digital plate processing such as elimination of films, easy data transfer and storage and higher print quality, are convinced that the new nyloflex® Sprint Digital is the best choice.
Washout of the nyloflex® Sprint Digital is with simple tap water and does not requires any additives or solvents. Together with the short processing time of less than 30 min. for the entire platemaking and the advantages of digital processing, the nyloflex® Sprint Digital plate contributes significantly to an environment-friendly and cost efficient workflow.
